If you’re wondering why I chose my logo to be a scottie dog, the answer is Chester.
Chester was my family’s dog for 10 years. He was the sweetest pup, who loved us very much and I still miss him every day.
In 2007, Patrizio adopted Chester from a friend, so he could be our 1 year wedding anniversary present. From the moment he came to our lives, Chesy filled our home with joy, sweetness and fur.
He was the perfect companion during my MBA years studying late at night. He was the best snuggling buddy for relaxing and watching TV. Chesy loved sausage, walks, sunbaths and treats.
Chester was a dog who got to experience the world outside our backyard. He got to travel in Europe, while we lived in Germany, and then he came with us to United States.
He was our first “baby”, and then he became the “big brother” to my kids, whom he loved very much.
Chesy was a spoiled dog, loved by us and by many other family and friends who got to know him. He was truly one of a kind and such a good boy.
One of my best friends, Rosy Martínez, came up with this design when I asked her to create a logo for me. I couldn’t be happier with what she did. She knows my love for Chester and she had the chance to know him since we were next door neighbors for some time.
I’m so glad Chester will continue to be my companion in this new journey I’m starting as a kidlit writer.
