ANOTHER INTERVIEW

Today I want to share the interesting conversation I had with illustrator Eliza Kinkz regarding her newly released picture book GOLDIE’S GUIDE TO GRANDCHILDING.

Eliza is very talented and has a delightful sense of humor. It was very exciting to have the chance of getting to know her a bit more and to learn about her career, her journey to publication and also about the process of illustrating a book. For me, as a picture book writer, it was very enlightening to discover how a book comes to life from the illustrator’s perspective. It’s really amazing how the illustrations can carry a lot of weight in telling the stories. Without a doubt, the work and love that illustrators put in picture books make the stories better, stronger and richer.
